Another day

Here we are another day and still nothing to do. I guess I should look at it as a blessing in disguise. I’m getting paid for doing nothing. I recieved an e-mail from a friend of mine today who is still out of work with no prospects in sight. It still amazes me how the economy has changed in such a short span of time. The experts (whoever they are) said that things would start to realign themselves after the first of the new year. Well, we are two months into the new year and there are still no jobs lined up for my husband.

I wish that I could bring my scrap supplies into work and be creative with that since I have nothing to do that’s work related.

I did register myself for a scrap weekend in April. It’s at a lodge in Sonora. Just think back to when you were a kid and you went away to summer camp… that’s exactly how I felt when I went there in October… bunk beds and all. We had a lot of fun. I have to complete more than 39 pages in April to exceed my October number of pages. With careful planning I think I can accomplish my goal.

Later!
