Slow at work

My husband has been asking me to start my own blog and against my better judgement I asked him how to do it today. I don’t believe I have anything to say that would be worth reading but I know I will have one reader at least.

I am an avid scrapbooker and being that it is very slow at work I have been searching the web for scrapbook supplies. I recently purchased a Sizzix machine and would like to get more dies for it but they are quite expensive. I frequently join scrapbook swaps and the current one is regarding Easter. I don’t have any Easter things and have been looking for ideas. With the help of my friends they helped me locate some really cute tools and ideas. Hopefully the tags I need to make turn out as well as I have imagined them. I’m sure many people have their outlets for stress and mine is scrapbooking. The only problem is that it sometimes takes precedence over daily mundane house duties. One of the reasons that I like it so much is that each page I create is a little piece of me. Most hobbies can be very boring because it’s the same thing over and over again. But with scrapbooking each page is totally different than the last so it’s like starting a new hobby with every page I complete. Ok, enough about my hobby for now…although I know it won’t be the last mention of it ever because it is such a big part of my life. I’m glad that I have these memories preserved for my children and grandchildren to have. My daughter is learning how to scrap and hopefully she’ll carry on the tradition for years to come.
