Down time.
I’m looking forward to a little down time from work. My last day with my company will be 10/5/07. I don’t have much planned right away but I have been thinking about what I can do until I find a job. I’ll be going to Disneyland with my very best friend and I’m sure we will have a great time. It will be decorated for Halloween and I haven’t been during this time of year.
I have thought about a million things I can do around the house. Tearing out the backyard, ripping out the tile in the dining and entry areas, laying hardwood, cleaning out the garage, getting a new cleaning service, sorting through things in the attic, painting bedrooms and bathrooms, getting light fixtures installed, repairing drywall damage in Sterling’s room, contacting someone to haul stuff to the dumps, replanting plants, re-caulking the bathrooms, pressure wash/stain/seal fencing, wash windows, new baseboards in Cortney’s room and the kitchen/dining area, take down the cottage cheese ceiling in Cortney’s room, and I’m sure there are a bunch of other things I’m not thinking of at the moment.
Doesn’t sound like much relaxing will be going on but I have been wanting to get a lot of these things taken care of and haven’t had the time. This is as good a time as any.
